But today, I have read something that's worth showing and delivering to the entire planet.


I have read @sugaronmars letter to Mars.


I have already talked about the deep love that the band 30 Seconds To Mars share with Echelon...or should I say the deep love that Echelon share with 30 Seconds To Mars ? It works the 2 ways round anyway. But I would never have imagined that someone could put in words what I feel, in a such a beautiful manner.


I won't make an endless speech on this. It's not my point to discourse today. I simply wanted to share.

All the tears, all the heartache, all the regrets, all the fear... all the waiting is almost over. You are less than 48 hours away from the moment that is going to change you and make you feel happier than you have ever felt in your entire life. You are going to be standing face to face with the people who, in a way, saved you... who have guided you and who have inspired you in a way you never imagined possible.

In this moment, nothing else is going to matter, nothing else is even going to exist. It will be you and them and the rest of the world can wait. You're sitting in your hotel room, shaking. Your heart is racing... It's almost time.

This is me, right now.

I'm less than 48 hours away from meeting 3 men who have, without knowing it, changed me into someone I'm ok with. I'm 48 hours away from my first ever 30 Seconds To Mars concert and that I have flown 7000 miles for.

Take chances, follow your heart and chase your dreams.

Echelon of Mars, you rock

A few months ago, I have written a message entitled "Echelon of Mars versus the rest of the Universe" HERE

At that time, I was not yet familiar with the concept of "Echelon" if we can call this a concept. I did not understand what an Echelon was, what steps did someone have to climb to become an Echelon. And, to be honest, to me, the Echelon were sort of living in their own world, allowing no-one in. Some sort of "sect" or something ;)


I also thought that the Echelon were all extremely young and that the fact that I could be the mother of 90% of them would close the door which would lead me to the beautiful red planet : Mars.

I was wrong.


Will you forgive me ? :)


Now, a few months later, I understand this army and I am gonna tell you why it is such a beautiful one and how it operates :


1- No discrimination of country, race, color of the skin, religion, age. As a proof of what I'm saying, read this wonderful tweet from @30STM_6277 :"It does not matter who you are, where you are from, how old you are or which religion you have. The important thing is that you are an Echelon."


Thank you guy. It's one of the most beautiful things I've read for a long time. These words imply so much love.


2- Mutual aid : as soon as an Echelon asks for something, dozens of others answer and help.


3- Mutual comfort : when an Echelon feels bad or depressed, dozens of others come to help and to cheer him/her up.


4- And of course, as the first task of the Echelon is to support the 30STM, they are all always ready to fight hard for the band and they do fight hard.


Echelon of the whole planet, you rock. I am sure that Shannon, Jared and Tomo are happy and proud to have you, such a strong, faithful and united army. You, the Kings and Queens.

I have myself been listed in "Echelon", "Believer", "Marsmothershuckers" (lol, love this one) and many other lists all related with Mars. You know what ? I'm proud of it.

It's Spring on Mars and on Earth

It's been a long time since I last posted something here. Actually, I had nothing important to say as Tomo's bawling out had left me empty minded.


But time is a great healer. I am done wasting my time brooding over it (though I haven't gotten over it yet). Anyway. I now think that it is way better to wipe the slate clean and start all over again. 


So, I have carried on my life, on Earth of course but on Mars either.


What have I done on Mars these last weeks ?


1/ I have voted : The #MMM thing has litterally killed me. I mean, the defeat. When I went to bed that day, we were ahead. 52.25% (or was it 52.54% ?). With such a percentage, I went to bed quite confident. I knew that the other side of the world had just woken up and that they would carry on the battle.


They did actually.


But it was not enough...


"I WANTED TO WAIT TO WRITE THIS. THIS IS A FUN THING TO PARTICIPATE IN, JUST LIKE LAST YEAR. LET'S FACE IT THOUGH, WE CAN SPEND ALL THIS ENERGY IN A MUCH MORE PRODUCTIVE WAY I THINK. IF ALL OF US SPENT THE SAME TIME AND ENERGY VOTING FOR THIS, AS WE DID TRYING HELP PEOPLE IN JAPAN RIGHT NOW, WE WOULDN'T BE  FEELING SAD FOR LOSING, WE WOULD BE CELEBRATING THE FACT THAT WE THOUGHT ABOUT OTHERS WHO TRULY DO NEED HELP, INSTEAD OF OURSELVES...#justsaying"


These words were tweeted by Tomo. No sign at all from Shannon or Jared.


I love you guys, you and your music. You can't even imagine what your music makes me feel. This will never change I think...no matter what. But I always make a point of saying what I think. Always. This is what I call Honesty. This Honesty that one owes to the people they love. And what I think about this is that you should have been with us. The two of you have a total of more than 500 000 twi-followers. Half a million !! One word from you would have rallied all the troops. Only one single word...


But you were not there. The poor little soldiers were left alone. Beheaded.


As if you were not concerned by the MMM vote...Tomo only was. He tweeted more than one time to mobilize the troops.


But I won't comment his last tweet because I don't understand what it exactly means. Was it bad to spend all this energy voting ("we can  spend it in a much more productive way") ? Was it not ? Did we have to put on the MMM vote the same energy as the one we had put to help Japan (but we did actually) ? And this would have prevented us from being sad ? Who are those "others" who do need help ? Japanese people ?...


Of course, there is another possibility. I mean, another explanation : I am completely and desperately stupid and/or not sensible enough to catch the true meaning hidden behind the words...


2/ I have carried on my fight for Serbia : I will not stop until they have a YES we are coming or a NO we are not. Ok, I won't spam anymore but I will carry on tweeting regularly about the fact that Serbia wants Mars. It'll be my regular "booster shot"...for the lovely serbian Echelons.

You rock guys

I have recently learnt that the problem that prevented the band from going to Serbia was essentially a problem of money. Seems that the band is asking for more than what Serbia can offer...


I am sure that efforts can be made on both sides to solve this problem. Exit Live (the organizer of the Exit Festival) seems to have agreed to cooperate. But what about the band ? Jared is not greedy, is he ?


Let's just hope that Serbia will fulfill their dream...

I believe in good vibes.

3/ Haiti Book : I was extremely disappointed when I received a mail from 30STM saying that the shipping date (initially scheduled around the beginning of March) was postponed until the end of April *sigh*.


Like the serbian Echelons, I will have to be patient, patient, patient... :)


4/ I took part in Sophie's (@30STMVOTE) funny quizz about Mars. Could not be here all the time because I have a busy life to live on Earth but the little I did was funny. I also heard this weird story about the brazilian girl in Atlanta. I have even been tweeted a letter the girl has written to Jared. I still don't know why they sent it to me (I know that other people, linked in a way or another to the 30stm, have also received the letter). Anyway. I am not God and I am no judge. Jared and the girl know what has happened and Jared and the girl know why it has happened. So, to me, the case is closed.


5/...eeer I did many other things on Mars but I won't list them all. You could be bored :)


Apart from my life on Mars, my life on Earth was recently enlightened by the arrival of Spring (I loooooove Spring) but also by the discovery of a new author (I loooooove books) : Khaled Hosseini . His "A Thousand Splendid Suns" moved me so much. When you read such a book, you realize (among many other things) how lucky you are to have been born a free woman...


I am now reading "Kite Runner"  (in french : Les cerfs-volants de Kaboul). You must have heard about the movie . The book is...oh... (sensitive souls, keep away from it). Those who have read "The Prince of Tides" know about Callanwolde. There is a "Callanwolde" at the beginning of the story but I won't say more about it.

If you like reading, do run to the nearest bookshop and buy these books. You won't regret it.

Mars has kind of given an answer to Serbia

There we are. We have been struck by lightning. Mars has answered through Tomo's angry voice :


"JUST A QUICK NOTE. SPAMMING OUR TIMELINES IS A GOOD WAY TO GET US TO NOT PAY ATTENTION. WE WILL COME EVERYWHERE WE CAN, WHEN WE CAN".

Yelling at us this way. Ouch !!

So rude. So hurting.


And it still hurts me each time I read it.


I would have loved to read something kind. A kind answer to (so) kind and devoted Echelons. Serbia had been asking for an answer for so long, promising that as soon as there was one, spamming would stop. So a "heard" would just have been clear enough to everyone.


The evening had begun on a very pleasant and joyful manner. @arthemars had tweeted "If you could teleport to any place right now, where would you go?" Can you guess what the answer was ? At that precise moment, I would have loved to teleport myself to...Oman of course. So arthemars, eskimofaraway and I had started a gentle chat and were ready to pack our things and off we go to Oman.


A few hours before, while I was stuck in the bloody traffic jams that this city is used to, I had had a new idea to try and help the serbian echelons to get Mars in their country. I had decided to write a new page, here on my blog, which I would have entitled "Mars Attack : Phase 2"


I wanted this post to be funny. It would have described what I meant by "Phase 2". Actually, I had thought that if we sent funny tweets to Shannon, Jared and Tomo ,they might be more receptive to the strong desire of the echelons. I wanted to tweet each day a funny "motto of the day" related to Serbia naturally. One and only one each day.


I wanted, I wanted, I wanted...


...until Tomo's tweet came as a bolt from the blue...

I must confess that I am dazed ! I know that in a few hours, the hurtful thing inside me will have softened but still...


The good thing (always the bright side vs the dark side) is that it appears that Mars has heard at last.


Mars has heard Serbia.


I'm gonna sleep on this tonight. Tomorrow, my brain will surely be more alert...

2- It is nearly Spring, we're living on Earth (our head still on Mars though) and life is beautiful :)
